Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Chardonnay 2005

We love how this Chardonnay begins with a burst of tropical fruit, evocative of pineapple and citrus. These vibrant flavors fan out across the palate and turn creamy on the lingering finish. Spicy notes, reminiscent of baked apple with cinnamon and vanilla, weave through the wine’s aromas and richly-textured flavors. Grapes for this wine come from California’s historic Lodi region. Served chilled, this Chardonnay tastes great with grilled halibut and saffron couscous, roasted chicken with herbs, mushroom frittata, pork loin with apples, or seafood salad.

Elegant and velvety smooth, this Merlot is easy to love. Lush fruit character, evocative of ripe cherries and blackberries, tumbles from the glass. The juicy, expansive flavors, mingled with cocoa and spice nuances, fan out across the palate. This wine’s vibrant, fruit-focused personality comes from perfectly ripened Merlot grapes grown in the Lodi region. Merlot’s approachable style complements a variety of main courses, including roast turkey with herb stuffing, grilled portabella mushrooms, gourmet hamburgers, steak smothered in caramelized onions and lamb kebabs marinated in rosemary, sage and garlic.

Zinfandel and California were made for each other. Even though recent grape DNA research links Zinfandel’s origins to Croatia, the vine somehow made its way to California in the 1850s and rooted so deeply that it’s long been called a “native.” This Zinfandel is sourced from the Lodi region, whose winegrowing history dates back to the Gold Rush. It’s juicy and mouth-filling, packed with ripe wild brambleberry, black cherry and raspberry character. Aromas and flavors of black tea, spice and heirloom rose mingle with the jumble of dark berries. Zin’s affinity to California extends to the region’s cuisine; the wine’s smooth, supple flavors make a zesty match for barbecued steaks and chicken, a flat iron steak salad, margarita pizza, or hearty pasta.

UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air and 3 Day Express are calculated based on the weight of the gift basket and postal code you are shipping to. You will be prompted to choose your shipping method during the checkout process.

When will my gift basket ship?

• Orders placed Monday through Friday before 2:00 p.m. EST will ship out the same day. If you wish for the basket to be shipped at a later date please specify when adding it to cart.
• Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will ship on Monday.

When will my gift basket arrive?

UPS Ground makes deliveries Monday - Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

• For UPS Next Day Air, your gift basket will arrive in one business day.
